Turn saved workout and recipe reels into a plan you finish
A short guide. Last updated 5 October 2026.
Saving a reel feels like progress, and it is not. What gets a saved workout or recipe done is small: one thing, a date, and a short list of steps.
Doing it by hand
- Pick one thing. Not the whole folder. One routine, or one dish for this week.
- Watch it once and write the steps. Five lines in your notes is enough: the sets and reps, or the ingredients and the order.
- Give it a date. A day you can name, such as Wednesday, beats "soon".
- Set one reminder for the morning of that day.
This works. Most people stop at step two, because writing the steps out of a video is slow, and it has to be done again for every reel.
Letting Nylo write the steps
Nylo is a small penguin you message on WhatsApp or Instagram. You forward him the reels, and he does step two for you.
- Send him the reels as you come across them. He puts the ones about the same thing together. He calls that a bucket.
- Give the bucket a date. That makes it a target.
- He writes the steps from what is said and shown in the reels you sent, not only their captions.
- He keeps asking. A plan each morning and a check each evening, until the steps are done.
Three pasta reels become one bucket. Put a date on it, and they become five steps you can cook from.
What to know before you start
- Buckets, targets and steps are in Free, with 100 saves a month. Having him write the steps, the plan each morning and the check each evening are part of Nylo Pro, which starts with 3 days free. The prices are on the pricing page.
- He is right most of the time and he will sometimes be wrong. For a workout, an injury or an allergy, check anything that matters before you rely on it. He is a helper, not a trainer or a doctor.
- He only has what you send him. He cannot see what is already in your Instagram Saved folder.
